Valensky Sylvain

Valensky Sylvain is one of the founding members of Dark Elf Films. Sylvain acts primarily as Dark Elf’s producer, casting and development director, overseeing several of Dark Elf’s projects at one time, including short and feature length films, web series, commercials and music videos. Projects range in genre from comedies to action, to hard romance and fantasy, just to name a few. 

Hailing from Brooklyn, Sylvain began his entertainment career at the age of five on the stages of New York. Upon developing a long list of theater credits, Valensky crossed over into film which only helped to expand his hunger for acting and love for the arts.

Known for his thunderous laugh, quirky sense of humor and impeccable networking skills, Sylvain can most often be found mentoring and encouraging other young artists on the set of several Dark Elf productions including Breaking Point, Technopolis, GameStore, Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave and Bond among others. 

Sylvain offers the following advice to young filmmakers and actors:

“Hone your skills and never give up.”

Sylvain lives by the most inspirational advice he was ever given:

“One day we’ll find the balance between who we wish to be and who we need to be. But for now we have to be satisfied with who we are."
